Not quite there

I was going to try an entry to this week's Mono Monday challenge : Street photography at hip level. The idea is that you saunter along with your camera, clicking away whilst not actually appearing to be taking any photos at all.
It's a good idea, but I just don't feel comfortable photographing people while they're not aware of it. I can't take good photos of people anyway.
Here's a picture taken inside one of the brand new buses on my way to deciding I couldn't do the challenge. The buses have colour screen displays, audio announcements, free wi-fi and USB ports in the back of every seat for charging mobile phones.
Oh, and wheel arches that extend in front of seats so you can stub your toes on them.
