Tandle Hill

I've walked up to Tandle Hill many times and always by the same route. This time we decided to take the path through the woods on the way back, not that interesting but they are beautiful graceful beech trees so I look forward to wandering round there a bit more in the spring when the leaves are out. In the spirit of adventure, we also took another new path on the way back, which my companion thought came out a couple of hundred metres from where we usually meet the road again, but it turned into a couple of miles worth of detour along the canal. Not bad though and at least we had a good couple of hours walk when it wasn't raining.
