Egret.

As it seemed brighter over by the river, we took Rona to Higgins Neuk for a walk this morning. The sun was almost warm on the back although we had to watch for ice on the road. We were delighted to see one of the egrets foraging on the salt flats.
This afternoon we were across at a friend's for lunch and had a great time, lots of reminiscing and laughs.
