A Little High

The river is pretty high today. Not surprising as it rained nearly all night. Usually by now I should have seen a drop in the water level but I haven't. This river has changed a fair amount since living here. At one time the water would rise then fall as if a plug had been pulled. Now it hangs about. It's been happening since Chelmsford city centre has been developing. Hopefully my house will stay safe.
Swimming tonight and I have to demonstrate some drills for the other swimmers. It's much easier seeing what you are meant to be doing. Just hope I can still do them!
