Sunset

Up early and away from Auckland, enroute for Tauranga. A challenging but ultimate good (and long) meeting, then back in the car and off to Rotorua. Arrived a little after 3.

Clear some email, made some calls and by 4 I was on my bike, in the Whakarewarewa forest. No shuttle so uphill it was, up to the top of Corners. 30 mins uphill and then 20 down, and then back up again, to Split Enz this time. All up, nearly 800m of climbing and 2 great runs down.

Well and truly tired. Spa, dinner, some more work, and bed! Off to Ruapehu tomorrow.

And yep, sunset at the top of Split Enz, got a tad dark coming down thru thru forest ...
