Thanks Mum

Snowdrops apparently don't transplant easily. I had several attempts at taking snowdrops from my family home without success. After a couple of years, I found a clump that had taken properly and I was lucky that they survived the move to my present home.

Mum's snowdrops are doing well and when I got home yesterday, I noticed that they had pushed their way through the fallen leaves.

A true sign of Spring, I hope, amid the greyness.
