Jumping for joy

This afternoon we tagged some heifer calves that we are keeping, and took them from the calf shed that they had been in while been taught to drink, and put them in a paddock. You should have seen them run - I caught these three 'jumping for joy' at being outside in a paddock. These calves had their first drink of the meals on wheels tolley tonight, and took to it very well.

The sun came out early (for us) this morning, and stayed out all day. I even got my washing dry on the clothesline! The animals enjoyed sunbathing in the warmth of the sun.
