Why did the Chickens Cross the Road?

I enjoyed my first real ride of 10.6 miles.
The ride route has a significant hill in it. 
I use this steep hill in training for my long distance rides.  
The “pedelec” Copenhagen Wheel essentially made the hill seem quite small.
