A friend in need ...

My mate up the road was feeling a bit ropey after a night out last night - she doesn't drink, but had been out dancing til 2am. Her husband and son were both out, so I went round ( in my PJ's! ) and we snuggled under a blanket and watched The Notebook.

Later we nipped into town to do a bit of shopping and then I went home to label the marmalade I've done so far before putting it away for Christmas.

Dinner, then couch potato-ing in front of the telly.
