The BADD Flamingo

This weekend we had a large family gathering at the cabin on North Barriere Lake. For those who may not be sure where the cabin is we place this sign at the entrance and a similar one where the road to the lake branches off from the main road. It appears the flamingos have been breeding because there are many more than last year. BADD is a combination of my initials and those of my partner.

We left home in a thunderstorm and drove through heavy rain to the lake. As we came nearer to the lake we encountered trees across our lane so apparently the storm was extra violent in that one area. As we unloaded our vehicle we shivered in the cold rain. The rest of the weekend the weather was beautiful and everyone had a great time.
