Log Burner Inauguration.

We attended the abode of Mr and Mrs BFLexB (Ian and Fliss) tonight. The gathering was to mark the opening of their new log burner. To mark the occasion further, Ian thought he'd burn something from his past he wished to move on from. The said item was his 3rd year English book. His teacher, a Mrs Etheridge said at the time, nothing would come of him (in an English sense). Well Ian is now a teacher, and doing very well. What does Mrs Etheridge know?
