Just Count Me in and Count Me Out

Today it wasn't raining, and that was a good thing.

We got up had coffee, Himself changed the lightbulb in the car, and then we headed up to the Allotment.  There were three rugby matches on.  Parking was at a premium, but we found somewhere and waddled (I don't walk in Wellies) over.

I don't know about you, but I find it very hard to concentrate on hard work when there are snowdrops, robins, crows, tits, sparrows, pigeons, sun breaking through the trees, and more snowdrops all around.

We spend 2 hours digging up some more mud, and then we headed off.   Next job was taking the burny tumble dryer to the skip.   We had to lift it from the back door, and houf it into the car.

Then we drove down and dropped it; then had a wee run to the harbour to see what was all happening down there.  There is a whole new building being built; there was a Calmac ferry in waiting to leave (i think it has been in the dry dock for a week); the woodmill has taken it's wall down and there is some massive building work going on in there.

The harbour itself despite being full of boats, was very quiet.   It was glorious just to stand there and enjoy the sun (yes, the sun was shining beautifully), and listen to the sea gurls.

Then we came home, had a cup of tea; and I did the whole Karcher thing.   So now, we are exhausted, but quite content that we have done loads today.

:-)  Ready for FOOOD.

And Toolibelle is still in Edinburgh.  Living it big!
