Respite

Came home from Frankfurt to a quiet, empty home. Forgot no one would be here, and had left without keys. So I was locked out of the house until my son get home from work. At least it was relatively nice outside, so I could sit in the sun on my lower terrace and wait. When my son headed out again for the evening, I made myself cozy on the sofa with a tumbler of whiskey and a movie on my laptop - and thoroughly enjoyed an evening all alone :)
