Blending images with GIMP

Trying out this blending images feature in gimp in preparation for my Sunday lecture on it. I decided to make my output useful and so decided to blend me and my co-teacher's photos on a sunset background so that i can post it as a cover photo in our google classroom website. I didnt inform him before posting in online. It turned out, the photo looks like a tribute for the dead and he commented that the only thing that is lacking in it is "In loving memory of ... ". I laughed my heart out at the comment! I honestly didnt think of it that way. I was just to excited about "blending images" as it was my first time doing it. I was ready to take it down but he said that i should leave it there. Ok! LOL!
