End of the day

What a contrast, the heat of the sun most of the day then the dark clouds started to roll in late this afternoon coming in from the top end, its their cyclone season around Broome, Derby, Port Hedland, we always catch the fringe of them, nothing serious in the Northern Territories just heavy rain for them, flooded creeks and rivers, we didn't get the wind this time around just the rain.
We had just finished dinner, i took the sunset from the front garden, as the sun sunk into the ocean the rain came in very gently we had the doors and windows open for a long time listening to the rain falling on the plants and the grass, mmmmmm what a lovely fresh smell that was, i could hear the plants soaking it all up.
My extra is my baking afternoon, pasties and sausage rolls, just because i felt like cooking. :-)) now we have to eat them!!
