Winter Gin Palace...

Look at my poor wee Gin Palace shivering in the snow.  

Never fear wee GP, Spring is not far away, when you will get a fresh coat of paint and some new outside lights and you will be back in business.

Got quite a shock when I opened the curtains this morning as snow wasn't forecast.  Poor David has booked a round of golf tomorrow so hoping it will be gone by then.

We had a few plans today, one of which was to clear out the outhouse, which is full of rubbish but the weather gave us an excuse to have a lazy day.  

David spent most of it playing with the new lights in the kitchen and the sound system while I tried to write a bit more of my Reply to the Toast to the Lassies for next Saturday's Burns' Supper.  It's getting there :-)

Alan's had a fun evening with Christine.  Lots of laughter from his end of the house despite his cold.  Yes he has a cold now.  He's not impressed.  I don't blame him.
