Green. Very green.

The day got swamped.
It was impossible for it to make any kind of recovery.
The ground was too wet
Too soggy.
Too muddy.
Too windy too!

Am amazed at how many people turned out at the fundraising event I went to today.

Money was spent on the tombola, the bottle tombola and the raffle and I even won something there too.

Plus we had tea, cheese baps and delicious home-made coffee and walnut cake.

What more do you need on a wet August Bank Holiday in Britain?!


This, incidentally, is one of the borders in the garden.
