Prepping is so boring.

This morning we have been to two different Screwfix, the bathroom shop, wilkos, B&Q and Wickes. We have got Dads work van this weekend so we have made the most of it and got the rest of the loft insulation.
Mom and Dad were already busy working at the house when we got there. Dad has started plumbing in the sink in the upstairs toilet and Mom had tidyed up the kitchen and downstairs toilet. The first thing Stu did was have a fire. We have to have three small fires before we can use the log burner properly (not sure why) so today we had two and the good news is it works.
Stu has finished fitting the skirting board in the lounge and Mom has stared sanding and filling it. I have spent most of the day removing silicone from the side of the shower and wall. The fitters had done it to seal the shower but we hadn't painted the wall so it's had to all be removed. I think this may have been the most frustrating job I have done so far at the house. I've also sanded down the wall to blend the new plaster in and started filling and prepping the walls in the bathroom ready to be re painted. Stu has almost finished fitting the skirting board in the bathroom too. What a busy day!
