Adventure

Today was rainy and horrible but MrsCyclops and CyclopsJnr set out on an adventure. As it was an adventure, CyclopsJnr felt he needed to bring his pink fluffy 'adventure stick' which Grandma bought him on a previous adventure.

The first part of the adventure was a 45 minute bus journey which was made exciting by the treat of sitting upstairs in the front seat.

We got to the National Museum of Scotland at 10am as it opened, and spent the remainder of the adventure looking at animals, dinosaurs, outer space and transport. CyclopsJnr enjoyed all of that, but particularly the transport as there was racing cars, trains, hot air balloons and lots of hands on stuff. Here's a little film.

A picnic on the bus then home for a big nap.

For the rest of the afternoon we stayed in and made pirate cakes.
