All Aboard

A friend called last night to ask if I'd be interested in a trip to Didcot Railway Centre. I'd heard good things about it and decided to give it a go. 

Somehow, we managed to spend almost 6 hours wandering around, as there was so much to see. Movement amongst the engines was totally unrestricted, so care had to be taken not to bang your head or fall into the service pits.  The engine and carriage building sheds allowed you to peek into a bygone era and I was immediately transported straight into an Agatha Christie novel. 

A great day out and highly recommended for all the family.
