Light over the wall

Started the morning with a few work telephone conferences, they save hours of travel in a rural county.

Then had a meeting with health and care professionals about Grandma route out if hospital. They had to delay the start so got to visit her first. She was ok today but a bit tired. The meeting was long, emotional and draining but ok. At the end of the main meeting after an agreed plan her consultant came in to talk about her, sadly her prognosis isn't good so we agreed a different plan of action. He was a very lovely , kind compassionate doctor and the social worker said how impressed she was.

Glad to be working at home afterwards to have some quiet time before the whirlwind boy got home!
