Bermondsey
I had half an hour before meeting my friend Becca for a long and much overdue lunch at Casse-Croute in Bermondsey Street.
White Cube across the road have stunning installation by Anselm Kiefer. Called 'Walhalle' the enormous piece of work reminds me of Tarkovsky's 'Stalker', WW2 field hospitals and gas chambers in equal measure. Visitors are warned not to touch the pieces as they are made from lead. (A little taster as an extra).
