Sevens Weekend

The HSBC Sevens World Series Rugby tournament is in town this weekend. In previous years this has been a spectacular event with the spectators dressing up in outrageous costumes and alcohol fuelled fun ensued.
The events decline over the years was obvious to see today when I took a walk along the Wellington waterfront where the bars are usually full and overflowing,  but today they were empty and the local Hare Krishna group outnumbered the punters attending the event!
