Small Updates Make Big Differences

I laugh when I tell Erin these stories of the visions that I had of this house when we first walked through. We can pretty much make the interior exactly how we want it; however, we cannot fix a bad location, ugly house, or structural issues easily. I knew going in that this would be an 80% solution starting off just like current day defense competitions, not so much best value but lowest price technically acceptable. Here is an example of an easy $100, 1 hour upgrade. Remove the old 80s sheer curtains and gold curtain rod and replace with decorative curtains and rod, maintaining the open/close feature. Just wait until the fence and floors are in.....more to follow.
