Celtic Connections 2017
For the last ten Januaries, since we moved back to Scotland, I've been saying that this will be the year we go through to Glasgow to see something of the Celtic Connections festival. And this year we actually did it!
We went to hear Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas perform their fiddle and cello magic, and they were brilliant. And so were the supporting musicians.
They were playing in the Mackintosh Church, the only one in Glasgow designed by Charles Rennie M.
A fantastic venue, lit in true CRM colours and with a great acoustic. We sat in the front pew in the gallery and I was so absorbed I forgot to take a picture till the very end when they were all leaving the stage.
