End of the line

I was down in the town this afternnon meeting some fellow members of the Oban Photographic Club at Waterstones bookshop. We held our first exhibition of prints last summer in the room above the shop and muggins suggested that before we repeated the exercise it would do no harm to give the walls a lick of paint. Waterstones will buy the paint if we do the work, which seems fair enough as they don't charge us for the space.

Took a few harbour pictures with a Blip in mind, but eventually my warped sense of humour got the better of me and I decided on this message instead.

I've seen this sign painted on the ferry pier hundreds of times, but the alternative meaning only jumped out at me today. With a crack like that across his head, how could the outcome be anything else!
