Windy Day

Once again the little ones decided it was to be an early start. So after some early telly box we grumpily headed out to fly a kite in the heavy wind (where Girl and Friend helped Boy from blowing away) before heading to the Boat Deck to meet a load of friends for a very tasty chip lunch.

Then with lollypops in our hands and with very full bellies we then caught the last of the kite festival where strangely there was not a lot of kite flying on but a dog show in full swing. The long walk home had an early diversion for Wife and Girl and friends as they made their way through the Jungle Fun House at the funfair.

After an interesting chat to an informative council chap we were back on course for another long journey home with little ones who, without friends to motivate their leg movement, had to mainly be carried much to the exhaustion of their parents.
