The rain and the wind have finally stopped after a wild night, even a bit of luminous blue sky was spotted in Bantry. I went in with Himself today, he to do the shopping and me to potter around and do the serious purchases- snazzy baths salts and packets of peas and beans to sow (it's that time of year already). We decided to do the Beicin walk which takes you round a bit of the bay and then back into the town. Nothing too strenuous and some beautiful views out towards Whiddy Island. This pier is a temporary one for a huge amount of work is being done in the harbour - dredging and reconstructing as part of a new marina scheme.
