Satisfying Day

I'd not planned to do anything on the allotment - but what a lot I got done! Once the girls were fed and the coop cleaned I went to lay more cardboard on my plot. I started weeding, borrowed some secateurs from the Artichoke Lady ( she is the owner of the one I've often photographed!) and then cut back the Autumn raspberries. I had a break with my Fellow Allotmenteer and as we sat with our tea I took the only photographs of the day - the sun shining over the valley. Apart from a chilly wind which wasn't noticeable when one was busy, it was a balmy day! Six hours later and another cup of tea, I finished my tidying up and headed home for breakfast/ lunch / dinner !!! Then back up to put the girls to bed!
Oh and my little robin fed from my hand today! Didn't actually sit on my hand but did take food from it! Now to get it used to the camera!
