On the Newport transporter bridge

Today we took Bethany back to Cardiff.
On the way we stopped off at Newport and had a look at the transporter bridge.
It's crazy! It's just like a piece of road with cars on it being swung across the water, it's kind of surreal really!
We had a ride on it across and back, this photograph is of Bethany and Nathanael when we were on it.
I did take some photos of the bridge itself but it was raining and so they didn't turn out very well unfortunately.
Anyway, once we'd done that we carried on to Cardiff and dropped all of Bethany's things off at her house. We then went to a Wetherspoons for a meal. I had chicken skewer things which were very nice.
Then we went to Tesco to buy Bethany lots of food!! I got an Official Olympic Review magazine. It's really good, it's got loads of photos from the Olympics and has all the results and stuff in it.
After that we took everything back to Bethany's house, stayed there for a while and then came home.
It was kind of sad leaving her in her house all alone. As she does Physiotherapy her holidays are different to all her house mates so none of them were there yet :(
Well, I'm sure she'll be ok. She's coming back again on Friday anyway!
