December?!

Roger, Laura and I went for a walk at the Nature Center this afternoon. I took this during a brief glimpse of sunshine during an otherwise overcast day, but note the clothing - shirt sleeves and T-shirt! The temperature got up to 68 F today! We saw a number of people wearing shorts! There is a saying around here, If you don't like the weather just stick around, it'll be different tomorrow. That has certainly been true for this week. Within the space of a week, we have had a couple of days with highs in the 20s F and nights falling to 6 F. On Tuesday afternoon we had freezing rain, turning the roads and parking lots into skating rinks. Wednesday was milder and it rained most of the day. Christmas day was cool but sunny, and today we have temperatures nearing 70!! What's next I wonder?!

Jen and Jason had to leave this morning as Jason was working at 11.30, and Jen is back to work tonight. After they went, I got out to the shops before they got too crowded - I wanted to get to Bath and Body Works to take advantage of their big semi-annual sale and to Michaels to get some yarn - Laura wants me to make her a scarf to go with her new dress coat! This evening the four of us went to the movies, though it was a bitof a strange choice of movie as it turned out.

I have back-blipped the last couple of days!
