Duck Race

Last day of our short break in Center Parcs. Despite the inclement weather, before the guests were allowed in the pool this morning, 1000 plastic ducks were released for an exciting trip down the river rapids. Each was sponsored by a visitor to the park in aid of Great Ormond Street children's hospital. The sponsor of the first duck to reach the finish received a £100 Center Parcs voucher. It was highly entertaining to watch the ducks jostling for position on the run down although we probably got as wet watching them as they did in the pool! We had ducks 2 and 9 - we haven't spotted them in the picture yet, though!
