Happy New Year!

Having accidentally discovered the Manchester take on Chinese New Year a couple of years ago, it has become a regular in my calendar. This year, I decided to have an overnight stay to get the full benefit of the lights. This is an installation based on the Terracotta Army, rendered in silk. It was proving very popular.
I also noticed a tip that Salford Quays was particularly impressive after dark, so I had a quick trip out there to check it out. I've included one in extras, but found it hard to pick just one.
