Another fast car kind of day [i.e. a blur]

Up at 5:45am, reading student work. Drive to Edinburgh, stride 20 minutes from parking to campus & straight into class to teach for three hours. Scoffed lunch I brought from home, and just had time to grab a coffee before meeting an undergrad. Then three hours of back-to-back-to-back mentoring sessions with postgrads. Then drive home, microwave dinner cooked last night before going back out for a play rehearsal. Now just five sets of student work to read for mentoring sessions tomorrow, plus four short stories to mark up for masterclass feedback tomorrow...

OH, the glamorous life of a part-time lecturer!
