Skyflyer a.k.a Lokki

The pendant lamp Skyflyer is one of the best-known designs by Yki Nummi. The Skyflyer lamp was designed in 1960 and was awarded the same year a prize at the Milan Triennal. The Skyflyer, known in Finland also by the name of Lokki (Seagull) is still today very popular.

Today visited Mr.M's family with the kids as his wife was on a business trip and we guessed that the kids would like to have a visit and some playtime together. Well we got that right and the evening was nice, even I felt little tired and our son U managed to accidentally brake one lamp during the swordplay of the boys. Luckily it was a lamp from the kids room and not the kitchen design classic seen here :)
