End of an era

For as long as I have worked at ECJS, and for many years before that, this tree has dominated the skyline. Not anymore. It had a disease and posed a risk to the children playing around it. So over the last couple of days it has been felled. Necessary, but sad nonetheless.
Some good news though, all of the tree will be used in the making of our new outdoor classroom. Can't wait. :-)
