Chill

The local pond usually has a variety of ducks, swans and seagulls busy looking for a meal, but today it was deserted. The pond was not a very inviting prospect. There was a very thin veneer of ice but it was so cold today that it was surprising the ice wasn't thicker.
This local pond takes central position in our new WI banner at present being made. An embroiderer has depicted it in stumpwork. The banner should be finished for our February meeting after which I will be able to show it to my blip friends.
