The dog and I, Ojito Wilderness Access Road
Me and the dog, attempting to hike in 25 deg F weather in 30 mph wind. It was miserable in spite of several layers of clothes, even though the dog didn't mind. This is the road into the Ojito. Dramatic landscape, even not in infrared and stunningly beautiful. Today was a severe clear day with deep blue skies. The road is dirt and is as badly wash boarded as I have ever seen.
The news for the day is that the DSLR can be fixed and at an affordable price. Yay! APT (Albuquerque Photo-Tech). And lil' Nik my point and shoot can be fixed and it is probably a warranty repair. The bad news is not likely this coming week or the next, but both babies will be okay.
Today I give thanks for camera repair people who stay late to get repair information and relay that information to worried owners, the Ojito, the ever faithful angry swedish nanny (my volvo) and the hiking pup.
