MRI

I went to Sheffield today to take part in some research - they're looking at whether MRI is as sensitive as ultrasound when detecting brain abnormalities in pregnancy. I'm in the control group as so far everything looks normal. It was a fascinating experience and amazing to see the details - things like unerupted teeth in the gums, the optic nerves, pituitary glands and lenses in the eyes.
