ABSTRACT CELEBRATION
My contribution for the Abstract Thursday Challenge with the theme Celebration. Huge thanks to Ingeborg for hosting this amazing challenge.
We had hoped for a sunny day and we got it. I could not count one cloud in the sky. A bright day, cold, and a wind blowing from south-east.
Piet Hein suggested we would drive to Wülmersen, and walk, niicely sheltered from the wind, along the Reinhardswald trees.
We stopped at the Diemel river first, to have another look of the ice formations and little waterfall there. Better enjoy it now it is still so beautiful. An extra photo of it.
My picture I found in Wülmersen, above the big ponds wires were lead to prevent herons to catch the fish. The sun shone through the trees of the hills and the wires were lightened up.
We met two lovely horses in a meadow, one of them wanted to be kissed! Horses in meadows love to have visitors.
We climbed slowly till we reached the forest, and descended from there back to Wülmersen. We walked around the Wasserschloss, it still is closed till April first.
