Well well!

The weather was bitterly cold today when I walked to the village shop. I didn't fancy lingering around looking for a blip so popped into the castle as I was passing and snapped the well in the inner bailey. It's not very deep ( obviously it would have been when it was in use) as it's been partly filled up. I like to imagine people of that time collecting their water.

This afternoon I went to an Over 50's exercise class. It was zumba and as the class had been going for a long time the other people knew the routines. I was glad that I'd found a spot at the back!! We then did exercises with weights - I'll feel my muscles tomorrow!
