House Follows

When a vehicle comes towards you with flashing lights, waving a stop sign out the window, with a "House Follows" sign mounted on his grill, believe it!

I went down to Washdyke Lagoon again this evening.  Spent an hour there watching the banded dotterels and oyster catchers.  Took a few photos, which are better than Tuesday night's ones.

But I can always go back there.   

Whereas I may not meet a house on the road again in a hurry.  It really did take up the entire width of State Highway 1.  I didn't think to ask how far it was going, but it had come all the way from Mayfield (over 50km)  - with the guy out in front walking a good share of that distance waving his stop sign.  He had to make sure that all oncoming traffic was stopped at places where they could pull far enough off for this big guy to get past.
