Normal busy-ness resumes ...

Today I planned to go for a long run then lie on the sofa watching catch up TV, to continue my rather lazy bank holiday weekend.

Instead I did the run (only rained for the last half an hour) then went to meet my mum for a mooch in the shops. Then came home, my brother came round for a cup of tea and to borrow my husbands mountain bike and I started cooking.

I made a salmon souffle quiche, a la Good Food August magazine, some Jamie's leek and chick pea soup AND the banana muffins pictured. I think that firmly puts me in the domestic goddess category for today!

Now I really am ready for some catch up TV :-)
