White Van on the Snake
This is Bleaklow in the Peak District viewed from Hurst moor which is on the Kinder Scout (South) side of the A57 Snake Pass.
I did wonder whether to let the white van go past before taking the photo but no I decided to feature it instead :-)
Very chilly and the forecast says its our coldest day of the Winter tomorrow with a feels like wind chill to -5. ( I think I'll stay by the fire)
Bird watching highlight was finding a large roost of chattering small birds in conifers some even smaller birds(not sure what) but all those I could see clearly were Goldfinches :-) I wonder if they huddle together or shiver to keep warm - Winterwatch mentioned that long tailed tits all get as close as possible to keep warm a dozen or more on side by side on one branch BUT Blue Tits just shiver all night on their own :-(
