Spirit of the Dance

Went to see this dance troupe tonight at Global Village (we had front row "seats"). We specifically went to see them as their performance is only during Shopping Festival. [Global Village continues until April, but Spirit of the Dance will finish at the end of January.] It just so happened that these dancers were on our flight out of the UK on New Year's Day and we got to know of their performance whilst waiting for the luggage on the carousel! The oversized luggage and descriptions of what the bag contained begged questions.

And before that, we had a fantastic lunch with friend Jessica (she treated us). We chatted for hours... three hours... I think the staff were itching for us to vacate the table, but never said a word. They're good at Jones the Grocer.

And before that, G had a rather fraught day at school but soon forgot about it when she left. :)

My extra is of one of the shops in the Africa pavilion at Global Village. I would hate to do a stock take in this place! ;)
