I had a couple of attempts experimenting with aperture today...met L while I was out in the morning, he was taken ill at new year and had to have urgent surgery, so it was good to see him looking so well.  By the time I had finished aperture shots in the afternoon the light was fading, so this is a feeble blip of the fuschia that my husband cut down in the summer...should be firewood for us next autumn :)
