Inauguration day

The day we hoped would never come - goodbye (and thank you) Mr. Obama, hello Drumpf. The atmosphere is not really tense, but mostly sad around here, although people are looking forward to marching tomorrow. 

The only thing I really noticed  babout this all was these fences on my way to work - the new Mr. President's quickest way to the airport leads past our house and campus, bringing normal street activities to a halt in the process of passing by with the whole motorcade. Something tells me this is not going to be the last time this happens...
