Indoor sunshine

That's as near as it came today! Dry this morning so went my short cycle route to take advantage before the rain arrived. A good start to the day.
Bank Holiday Monday market in Thirsk was a bit sparse but worth a browse. My favourite stall had lots of these small sunflowers in pots. I bought 2, one for me and one for my neighbour. They are such cheerful flowers so didn't hesitate. Popped into the town church where there is a doll exhibition and then into the crypt where refreshments are served. That was morning coffee sorted!
A series of indoor activities in the afternoon which was (very) wet as forecast. Baked a couple of carrot cakes ready for the village hall on Sunday (now in the freezer). Enjoyed working on my tapestry for a time, slowly, slowly it progresses. Bracken needs her walk whatever the weather so wellies and waterproofs was the order of the day.
