Lonesome Tree on a Purple Horizon

Went up into the North Yorkshire Moors today, around Goathland way. It's beautiful up there at the moment as the heather is in full bloom and the hills are a sea of purple.

Sadly it began to rain, but I managed to get a few shots before my lense kept getting covered in droplets of water.

Had dinner in Fox Hounds on the way back, delicious as always. A lovely way to spend my bank holiday monday off....hope everyone else has had a good day too!
