Green Door

I pass this house regularly, I used to know the family who lived in it and the porch always caught my attention because it looked so different. It was built with tree trunks with all the knots and bumps still left intact. The side sections were small trunks placed on the diagonal to make a pattern with climbing roses creeping up the sides. Sadly now the house is for sale and is all boarded apart from the front porch. The For Sale sign has been uprooted from the garden and smashed through the little porch window, a mindless act but one that is all to common in today's society.
